Appearance: Just like any lynx, Cora is slim, with a wiry body and long, thick fur. She has ebony-tipped feet with small claws that are extremely sharp. Her pelt is a dusty gray and brown, covered in spots. She has the common white belly fur, and the short, stubby tail. Cora's eyes are gold and green in colour, depending on the lighting she's seen in.

Personality: Even though she's young, Cora is quite intelligent. She will only react to something in a way that she deems sensible, and only after she's thought about it for a moment. She's quite shy, and won't talk unless spoken to. She does what she's told, and stays on the good side of almost everyone. Her favorite job is to collect bedding for the retired members of the group. She finds the plants and things intriguing, and could study them for hours. Many members find her slightly odd, but don't care enough talk about it.

Cora is a young lynx living in the cold world of the Harbour territory. When she was born, her mother, Ruthy, hadn't even known she was pregnant. Cora's father was unknown to both mother and daughter. After kitting, Ruthy was ill, and would continue to be so for the rest of her life. Cora grew up by her mother's side, tending to her whenever she grew sick. One illness was finally too much, and her mother did not survive. Cora was nine months old. Left with no one but her step-brother as family, Cora was lonely and became quiet. He was a busy member of the group, and did not have time to see to Cora as much as she probably needed him to. She fought through her own sicknesses and fed herself. When Cora was a year old, she became a Sub, much to her delight. She did her job so well, it was nearly impossible to dislike her.
Several weeks into being a Sub, Cora met a loner while she was out collecting things for her group. It told her of Mother and the planet Earth, which was where the original groups were from. Intrigued, she asked about life there, and found that Earth was both beautiful and morbid. Cora secretly dreamed to visit Earth, but she knew it was impossible. However, her view on the place she lived now forever changed. It caused members of her group to notice her star-struck gaze whenever she would find some interesting plant. If anything was related to Earth, Cora would stare at it, a dreamy expression on her face. She had heard all of the storied from retired members, and she'd dream about a place far away where humans existed.
